Built-in Reverse Polarity Protection
Equipped with a built-in reverse polarity protection circuit, the ESC offers worry-free operation by preventing damage from incorrect battery connections, ensuring reliability and peace of mind every time you power up.
Note: Full reverse polarity protection of the entire power system can only be achieved when using the optional non-polarized capacitor. The standard ESC is equipped with capacitor that is not protected against reverse polarity. If the battery is connected incorrectly, the capacitor may be damaged; however, the
ESC itself will not be affected.

The Legacy now includes Smart Fan technology that runs the fan only when needed. This temperature controlled fan circuit prolongs fan life and improves overall performance. The intelligent fan start-stop function can be disabled through parameter settings.

Built-in BEC Supporting High-Voltage Servos
Built-in 10A switch-mode BEC with adjustable voltage from 5.0V to 7.4V (0.1V steps), delivering power and precision demanded by high-torque and high-voltage servos.

Softening Function for Enhanced Control
Updated to include HOBBYWING's patended Softening, the Legacy now includes a useful tool for tuning tricky track conditions.

External OTA Makes Parameter Tuning and Firmware Upgrades More Convenient
Pair the ESC with the OTA Bluetooth module to access wireless connectivity with your smartphone. Using the mobile app, you will effortlessly adjust parameters, read data, and upgrade firmware improving quality of life.

Real-time Data Logging Function for Easy Access to Power System Status
Connect the ESC to the OTA Bluetooth module and pair it with the HW Link mobile app to access real-time data monitoring. Monitor throttle, voltage, temperature, RPM and other data, while the OTA’s built-in memory records everything for detailed post-race analysis to fine-tune performance like never before.
Due to Bluetooth transmission limits, the effective range is approximately 5 meters.
